We are working towards wrapping up on developing the final 3D models of animals for Alberta Sustainable resources. Final set includes a pronghorn antelope, grizzly, beaver and mule deer. We have brought in Autodesk Maya to complement our other 3D development tools which includes Lightwave 3D, Bodypaint and zBrush. This will provide us with more options with animation. On another note, a project we were involved in developing, "Building Communities through Local Government" has won an Alberta Premiere Award. That makes it two Premiere awards in the past year that we have acquired.

Feb 2: 2009 We have been exorbitantly busy over the last while heavily involved in various media. Most notably is the 3D modeling of a large series of animals. 18 fish have completed and birds and mammals are in the pipeline. We recently brought in a new recruit, Ansun Yan, whole will be providing his skill in 3D and Action script programming. Recent news indicated that one of our projects has be selected for a Premier's award, which is an award given by the Premier of this province for projects that represent excellence in execution and delivery. The project is "Firm Steps: Identifying Lameness in Dairy Cattle", which is an interactive CD project that features locomotion studies of Dairy cows animated using 3D software.

July 3 : 2008 At this juncture, summer of shifting winds, we are wrapping up several long term projects which includes a Flash application for Alberta Transportation and a large print resource for the College of Dental Hygienists.. A grade 6 print resource and flash site for Alberta Municipal Affairs is completed and goes live. The print and flash media projects falls inline with the new social studies curriculum on building communities through local government. Rumour is that it is up for a Premiere’s award. We are beginning development on a fairly robust 3D project which involves creating 17 Alberta fish species, 12 mammals and 13 birds. The base mesh is assembled in Lightwave 3D and details sculpted in zbrush, lots of wholesome 3D modeling.
